| Description | Oldknow built a warehouse on St.Martin's Road for the transfer of goods to or from the Peak Forest canal to or from road vehicles. St.Martin's road was the most convenient point for access to Mellor Mill. Note the hoist to lift goods to the top floor of the warehouse. It was built in the early 19th century, and is a listed building. |
