Title View from tower of All Saints' old church looking south
Description In Oldknow's time this view would have been entirely rural. The large building on the right is Goyt Mill which was built in the early 20th century spinning cotton as Mellor Mill had done before. The chimney is now demolished, and the mill divided into separate units. The open land in the foreground is now covered with houses.
